Tom Bullough
Tom Bullough grew up, mostly, on a hill farm in Radnorshire. He is the author of four published novels and the nonfiction book Sarn Helen: a Journey Through Wales, Past, Present and Future, which won the 2024 Wales Book of the Year and the 2023 Waterstones Welsh Book of the Year. He is also a screenwriter who recently co-write the 2025 feature film Mr Burton and is currently developing a screenplay for the Cardiff-based production company Severn Screen.
Tom has held fellowships at Swansea University and the University of South Wales, where he completed his PhD in 2014, A Divided Identity: Representing Radnorshire and the Welsh Borders in Fiction. Tom’s next novel, set in 6th-century Wales and Ireland, will be published by Granta Books in 2027.

Bydd nofel nesaf Tom, wedi ei lleoli yng Nghymru ac Iwerddon y 6ed ganrif, yn cael ei chyhoeddi gan Granta Books yn 2027.
